Choose this classFor intermediate and advanced dancers: non-basic vocabulary, technique, styling, dynamics, communication, connection, space, geometry and theory. Those who teach can also nourish their own dancing, perception and pedagogical ideas.
Choose this classClassical non-basic Argentine tango themes adapted to the participants. The work often revisits Tuesday at 20:00 with a higher level of difficulty.
Choose this classA research class beyond familiar habits: less common rhythmic structures, separating roles from steps, perception and experimental exercises — without necessarily being tango nuevo.
Choose this classTeaching in movement
A lesson is not reduced to a figure to reproduce. Shawn connects several ways of entering movement, according to the people present and the question of the moment.
Support, axis, weight, breath, technique and styling: feel how movement becomes possible before trying to display it.
Communication, connection, roles and autonomy: understand space within the couple, between couples and in the ronda.
Rhythm, phrasing, silence, density and dynamics: hear more than the beat, then choose how to respond.
See a pathway, intention or structure through movement, an image, chalk on the floor or sometimes a dance model.
Two in one evening
The second lesson builds on the first and uses one box on the Tango Card rather than two.
Under 16
A legal adult must remain in the room, free when watching or paying normally when participating.
